True Transformation.

It can be rare to see true change. True transformation. This is what we have the honor of being apart of here at Kids Alive Haiti. We rescue kids who have lived in the worst places in Haiti and have been fending for themselves. We rescue kids who were once child slaves, not living with anyone to help them but only to serve others. By the grace of God these kids are given a second chance. A chance to have a family, a home, opportunity. Seeing the staff and families at Kids Alive is proof that these kids have been given everything they need. The staff and families here provide for these kids, help them, guide them and love them with all of their hearts. This is not just a job here at Kids Alive, it is something to devote your life to. There is real change happening here. We have kids who now see what it is like to have loving parents, obey God, have an education and are forever grateful for the second chance that God has given them. 

I pray that you would take some time to learn more about our ministry and that you too would want to join our Kids Alive family. Whether that means you become a prayer partner, a financial supporter, sponsor a child, or come down on a short term service team, all of that is for the glory of God. In order to have the impact that Kids Alive Haiti does on children, there is a lot of support, prayer and family that goes into that. I know that we cannot do it on our own here, and it is so crucial to have people in the states to partner along side us. We need your prayers, and we need you to share about our ministry with others. 

Someone from a short term team here a few weeks ago and got all of our totally unsponsored children at least one sponsor. Our residential kids need 9 sponsors to be funded, so having no sponsors is difficult. She went home and just by Facebook and word of mouth got all of our totally unsponsored kids at least one sponsor each! Now these kids will have letters to read on holidays, and cards to send back to them! The funds for their homes, school, health and food are now being supported by sponsorship of someone who loves them in the US, Canada or UK. How cool is that?! We can all work together to help kids on a global standpoint, but still have a connection to them through letters, small gifts and crafts sent in both directions! 

There is so much to be done with Kids Alive Haiti, I hope you will pray about how you can become apart of our family here in Haiti.
